The Furnace from Govojdia


The Furnace from Govojdia, Hunedoara county, Romania. It was built in the begining of the 19th century, and is the first continuous flow furnace from Europe and the second world wide. It is famous for the fact that here it was produced cast iron that later on was used to build the Eiffel Tower. Today is declared an industrial monument.
